Find the Glimmer

I follow Julian Lennon on Instagram and he shared a post recently that really resonated with me.

"Today I learned about a term called a 'glimmer,' which is the opposite of a trigger. Glimmers are those moments in your day that make you feel joy, happiness, peace or gratitude. Once you train your brain to be on the lookout for glimmers, these tiny moments will happen more and more."

I've had a lot of wonderful glimmers recently. I was able to see both sides of my family for Thanksgiving. Underdog Michigan beat arch-rival Ohio State in football yesterday. There's a new baby in our family and I'm going to get to meet him soon. While I was enjoying Thanksgiving with my mom I got to see the first snow of the year. We've had gorgeous sunny weather at home. We're really working on bringing in the light this winter. What's your glimmer?
